It is an honor for me to serve as Chairman of the
Arkansas Black Hall of Fame. I am proud to be associated with
this wonderful organization since its inception. It pleases me
greatly to be a part of this wonderful committee that has
demonstrated the very highest level of commitment and
professionalism. It is because of the committee and its
many supporters that the Black Hall of Fame has become a
respected Arkansas institution.
May I extend my congratulations and gratitude to
all honorees, who have each made an indelible mark on the
history of our state, nation and the world. We honor their
commitment to excellence, their hard work, and tenacity. These
outstanding sons and daughters of our great state provided ample
evidence of the greatness that can be achieved in spite of the
challenges that must be overcome.
